Missing Persons / AdoptionTracing Missing Persons is generally required when clients have been a party to an adoption and wish to find another party (a birth parent or child) to that adoption, or for any other legal reason.
Scenarios that have led to us locating people have been to locate-
If you are seeking pre-adoptive information you may need to apply for a pre-adoptive birth certificate. This is available through The Department of Internal Affairs - Births Deaths and Marriages. For forms and other information including vetoes, click here.
Once we locate a missing person we will discuss options with you and no contact will be made until circumstances have been discussed in full. We have a lengthy history of dealing with adoption cases and as such are completely aware of any emotions that may be running for all parties. Costs can be fixed prior to the task and we have a 100% success rate of finding people in New Zealand so we guarantee to find the party you seek if they are in this country. Here is a selection of references from our 'adoption' clients:
"Rod, I thank you for your work, your determination and perseverance .
Without you I would never have found my birth mother. It was you who did not give up despite what was a near impossible mission. You also helped pave the way in making the initial approach which you did with your wonderful diplomacy and gentle care. Everything went so well from that point on. I would recommend your services to anyone who wants to deal with an intelligent, gentle and generous person who cares deeply about their work. Debra, June 2008" Thank you so much for tracing and contacting my birth mother.
I had tried many other avenues over several years but without success so I am extremely grateful for your efforts. We have been in touch and our meeting went very well. I think it helped that you made the initial contact and 'broke the ice' in your professional and compassionate way. It was nice to know that my birth mother had been searching for me and did not know where else to go for further information to help the search. Thank you so much Lynne Contact Us |
